PAULA THORNE
MSc
As an MSc graduate with a major in Operant Psychology (Animal Learning), my focus is on giving dog owners the skills they need to change the way their dogs behave. I am passionate about understanding the reasons why dog’s do what they do and using this knowledge to help our dogs be all they can. I am a founding member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and keep up-to-date with the latest scientific research into dog training and animal learning. When I’m not out helping people communicate better with their own dogs, I’m probably teaching my Foxy a new trick!

I am a Masters of Science graduate from Massey University and a founding member of the New Zealand Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Committed to providing the most effective solutions to our client’s dog training needs, I am passionate about pursuing ongoing education and professional development by attending seminars and keeping current on the latest industry research. I believe that the secret to a wonderful life with your dog begins with friendship, understanding and trust from both ends of the leash. When I am not helping clients and their canine companions you can find me hanging out with my own four legged friends and looking for our next adventure together.
